The compatible phones are listed and it appears that Flip is not one of the acceptable phones. Only Alcatel listed is the A30
Are we sure that the list is exhaustive? I ask because usually the critical issue is CDMA v. GSM but this phone has both. Here are the connectivity specs from here.

The list of supported phones is complete and exhaustive. If a phone is not on the list, it is not supported. This is why I marked @jben’s answer as correct.
