WILL THIS CARD WORK IN THE MOTO G4?
This Republic Wireless Card sold at Amazon
is the same as the SIM card available from RW
However, I would recommend going here
and punching in your zip code to figure out if your area has good GSM coverage.
If all the phones are listed once you enter your zip code then there is good GSM coverage in your area.
If only some of the phones are listed then that means CDMA coverage is good in your area. The CDMA
phones including the Moto G4 must be bought from RW to get CDMA coverage.
If you buy your phone elsewhere and buy a SIM card from Amazon or from RW website… you will only get GSM coverage
with that option.
Also, be sure to verify that your Moto G4 is the model number XT1625. If you already have the phone you can check your model number
Apps → Settings → About phone → Hardware information → SKU
Or you can simply install the Republic App and the app will let you know if it is compatible.
Be aware that when buying a SIM card through Amazon, it is now an “add on” item. That means you have to place a $25 order with the SIM card. That is something Amazon does with certain small ticket items.
