For whatever reason, the Anywhere desktop program does seem to take a while to load. Loading speed will be largely determined by your computer’s hardware, mostly processor speed and the amount of RAM it has. You may find that Anywhere loads more quickly if you close other programs before opening the Anywhere application. Having fewer programs open makes more working RAM available so Anywhere can load into memory.
I just loaded the Anywhere desktop program on my computer. Before starting the app, I had right at 1GB of free memory. When it finished loading, I had around 740MB.
