BYOP on CDMA stil possible?

#1

I am trying to get my extended family to switch to Republic Wireless.
Right now, they are torn between this and FI.

They really need to have CDMA phones. T mobile coverage is terrible in Iowa and isn’t really usable for them.

Is it still possible to bring their own compatible phone, activate on GSM, then switch to CDMA?
There are help articles about this, but I need to be sure that Republic still supports it before I give my family any more advice.

all BYOD need to be activated on the GSM Partner, after this activation one can Request a coverage review and if Republic can support the phones on it’s CDMA partner and Republic support agrees CDMA has better coverage they can send out a CDMA SIM
