When I look at the log of calls I’ve made and received, the times listed are about 4 hours off. Why don’t the correct times show? Is there something I can do to fix it myself?
The call log should be in Universal Time, which is 5 to 8 hours ahead of the time zones state side. I don’t think you can change it. However, you can down load the CSV file into a spreadsheet and adjust it in the spreadsheet.
You can also use a UTC converter.
The Calls Log display is in UTC time and there is no online setting in the account to change it.
However, if you need a listing of your calls in local time and you are willing to do some additional
data manipulation using Excel or similar spreadsheet program, you can download the Calls log
to your PC as a “csv” file.
- Click on the black disk shaped icon in the top right of the Calls Log.
This opens up a link marked <… CDRs… for month year - Part 1>, etc
Right click on the link and use the “save link as” option to save it to your PC as a “csv” file.
- Open the “csv” file in Excel.
If you were in Eastern time then the offset from UTC time is 5 hours.
Add a new column with the formula “A2 - 5/24” and so on. This should
give you a time-stamp that is accurate in your local time.
