Call problem between two Republic customers

Issue Description

multiple issues

  1. Phone B calls Phone A. Seems to pick up, but no call went through. Specifically, call on “B” end hears two rings – second more quickly than with other calls. Timer on screen starts as if it was picked up/received, but it never was. Hang up and call back is received. Happened multiple times. Initially dismissed as being a quirk, but it has never changed, except one instance to try with both at home (wifi). B calls A and gets a busy signal. Called/Tried twice with same result.

  2. Phone A shows different number now to phones outside Republic. I.e., now instead of the name coming up as set with an existing contact, relatives now see a number they do not recognize.

On the Samsung Galaxy A20, please take the following steps:

  1. Uninstall the Republic Wireless app
  2. Reboot the phone
  3. Re-install the Republic Wireless app
