Calls & Texts when your phone isn't available

Unfortunately phones get lost, stolen or broken far too often. When that happens the most common question revolves around keeping up with calls and texts while a phone is being replaced. Here are the best ways to do this.

  1. Calls: It is not possible to forward your calls without an operative phone, so unfortunately this isn’t an option. However, you can use your call logs that you’ll find here by tapping " I Want To" and then “View Calls and Messages”. https://account.republicwireless.com/account/phones/ Remember that the logs are in UTC which you can covert to your local time here: https://www.worldtimeserver.com/convert_time_in_UTC.aspx While you won’t be able to hear the calls, you can at least see who called you.

  2. Voicemail: You must have set your voicemail PIN BEFORE a device was no longer usable in order to access voicemail. Directions to do so are here: How to Set Up or Change Your Voicemail Password – Republic Help If you have a PIN set-up you can call your own number, hit the “*” key during your message, and then enter your PIN, and you’ll be able to listen to your voicemail.

  3. Texts: While you’ll also be able to see who sent you texts in the logs as shown above, you can also download Republic Anywhere to a PC, Mac, Android or iOS device and actually receive and send text messages from your number. You can get the latest version of Anywhere here: Republic Wireless Downloads – Republic Help
