Can I use a phone bought from Amazon

I’m thinking about buying a Moto G Play from Amazon, but when I looked into buying a sim card from Republic, it said that the sim card will not work in my zip code, which is 64804. I know Republic phones work in my area, so I don’t understand. Can someone help me out. Thank you

Hi @noelt.eqtrrn,

When phones are purchased from Republic, coverage is provisioned with one of two cellular network partners depending on which one has better coverage in your area. Bring your own phone is currently limited to Republic’s GSM partner. What Republic’s coverage check tool is telling you is that coverage would likely be inadequate with its’ GSM partner and better with its’ CDMA (Sprint) partner.
