Can not receive some test messages because I they say I have VoIP... not mobile service

Several businesses say that they can not send me security codes. They say it is because my Republic phone service is VoIP and not mobile or a land line. What can I do?

They are correct that Republic uses VoIP technology. They are incorrect the can’t send you security codes. They may have decided not to send you security codes, but that’s a policy decision on their part, and nothing more.

Most providers offer an alternative like an authenticator app, call or something else.
