At restaurant I frequent that has free public WiFi, my Moto G5 Plus has indication, under Settings, “Connected no internet”. Is this a situation with the router at the restaurant or settings in my phone? I have discussed this with restaurant management on two different occasions; both time they powered-down their router, but that didn’t change the “connected no internet” indication.
Generally, this means that the commercial system they’re using requires that a user sign-in and /or accept terms and conditions of the network. The next time this happens, open your browser and enter 188.8.131.52 as the address you want to browse to. You’ll likely be presented with a page where you have to accept the terms and then you’ll see that warning disappear.
