I have purchased the Moto X pure from republic. My older phone is the Moto G. I cannot seem to get all my contacts migrated from the old phone to the new. It does however migrate some of them. What do I do? Thanks

I think you inadvertently posted this in the wrong place (Republic Anywhere BETA ). I have requested that it be moved to the discussions/questions section by moderators so it can have a higher profile with more focused replies.
The easiest way to move contacts between to Android phones is to sync both phones to the same Google account.
Did you add a Google account to your old phone? If you did, try adding the same Google account to your new phone.
