It use to be if you didn’t use all the data they buy it back at the end of the cycle. Assuming it’s the same way. Any option if that still exists not to have that done? I use so little data I’d prefer to leave the data till I’m out.
This remains true if and only if one is using a legacy Republic phone (a Republic specific Moto E1, E2, G1, G3, X1 or X2) with a grandfathered Republic refund plan. Newer compatible phones require use of Republic’s My Choice plans, which do not feature refunds for cell data not used during a bill cycle. There is nothing new here. This has been the case since August of 2016 when Republic launched its 3.0 platform and Clear Choice plans. Clear Choice plans were later superseded by My Choice plans.
Republic currently does not and, to the best of my knowledge, never has offered such a plan. Republic’s grandfathered refund plans limited to aforementioned legacy phones was as close as Republic came to your preference.
