Did something change with cellular/data service?

I’m usually on Wi-Fi (of course), and last night my power went out for a couple of hours. During that time, my phone did not have access to text messages or cellular data (despite paying for it). I thought it may have been a fluke, but again today I noticed there was no cellular data while I was in my car.

The same is true right now if I disable Wi-Fi: “Calls over cell. No access to cell data, messages, or …”

Under Republic Wireless’s app’s Data Tools, I’ve ensured that Data Freeze is disabled. Cellular data is enabled in Android, and my usage is 233 MB for Jun 10 - Jul 10. I’ve never messed with data options on my phone.

Has anyone else experienced this? I’m in a populated suburb and cellular data has never been an issue previously.

I’m having the same problem with my cellular service. I have all my monthly data available but when I am away from wifi I can’t get any cell service. It says “emergency calls only”. Any suggestions?
