Does the department that processes number transfers to and from other carriers operate on weekends? I’m trying to avoid an unnecessarily long or unpredictable game in receiving calls to the number I am transferring.
Number transfers or porting is a highly automated process that ideally would not require any human interaction at all.

To answer your question, it’s highly automated, however, the folks that handle the porting/transfers exceptions/failures is a specialized group that is M-F
