Forced to change from Nexus 6P?

I have a Nexus 6P. With Huawei not getting Android updates, what options do I have?

This article sounds hopeful as far as still accessing the Play Store for existing devices.

The 6p has reached end-of-life as far as Android OS and security updates, so you don’t have to think about that, as that isn’t an option now, anyways, and has nothing to do with this new development.

The 6P received its last update November of 2018. That was its end-of-life date (https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/4457705?hl=en), nothing at all to do with the Huawei situation. Second, while the hardware of the 6P was built, this isn’t really and has never been considered a Huawei phone. It runs a Google issued build, managed, maintained and completely designed by Google (as go all Nexus & Pixel phones). You’ll notice absolutely no changes at all due to the current political situation surrounding Huawei.
