Formatting the moto g4 sd card?

hi, I just got a 64GB micro SD card for my new moto g4. it’s formated as XFAT

out of the package. will this formatting work or do I need to change it to FAT or

FAT32.? thanks

I would let the G4 reformat it [I always get best results that way]
