How do I turn off airplane mode on a motorola G4

Hi @johnl.qhtonv

Swipe down from the top of the screen two times. Do you see an icon for Airplane Mode? When the icon is grayed out, Airplane Mode is turned off.

You can turn off Wi-Fi, mobile networks, and Bluetooth with Airplane mode.

To turn Airplane mode on or off:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app Settings app.
  2. Tap Network & Internet .
  3. Turn Airplane mode on or off.

You can connect to Wi-Fi while in Airplane mode. Learn how to connect to Wi-Fi networks.

To use WiFi only for incoming and outgoing calls, enable Airplane mode, then re-enable WiFi mode. Of course, once you leave the WiFi area, you need to disable Airplane mode via the instructions given above.

Hi @johnl.qhtonv,

Airplane mode is disabled by default and you wouldn’t normally need to turn it off unless you turn it on.

On a G4 there’s normally two ways to cycle the mode on and off.

  1. Swipe down (twice or once with two fingers) from the notification area to access in Quick Settings as @johnny5 suggested. It should be visible unless your settings have been edited to remove.
  2. Use phone Settings - More - Airplane mode.

If neither of those methods work use “Reboot to safe mode” and repeat the steps. This would help determine whether an app may be causing an issue. Safe Mode – Republic Help
