How to set up Moto G6 to make cell calls only

We have satelite internet and the latency to make calls is to long to make calls. Works good for texting. Is there some setting I can make so the phone will only use cell service and not internet for calls?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi @unioncreek and thanks for dropping back into the Community with your question!

As I suspect you know, the premise of Republic’s blended WiFi/cell service is WiFi first cell second.

Neither Republic or Android itself provides a setting on the phone that would block use of WiFi (Internet) for calls. You may be able to block UDP Port 5090 on your router and doing so would effectively block WiFi calling on your satellite based home network.
