I may have picked the wrong phone

So I recently (Friday) ordered 2 phones for my sons. These will be upgrades for them. I THOUGHT I picked the phones they would want…Then I hear them say “well if I can buy a phone I want…” AND of course they say the phone I did not pick. Can I return the phone and exchange it for a different phone if they don’t want to keep these?
