I am seeking a replacement phone for MOTO G (1) but only see phones offering the finger print access feature, which I cannot use. Will there be some offered for my zip code 97471 that would not have this?

The fingerprint scanner on devices is pretty common these days, but in all cases, it is completely optional to use. In all cases you can leave it disabled and use no security at all, or just a PIN or password.

And, my experience on multiple phones, most implementations require PIN or password backup when using the fingerprint scanner feature.

I believe that’s an Android requirement, so it would be universal on all devices sold by Republic.

Android, iOS, I’ve yet to run into an exception but I allow for the possibility, however, remote it may be.
