Insufficient storage error when trying to update apps

On both our Moto E 2nd generation phones, we’re getting an insufficient storage error when trying to update apps. I’ve moved everything I can to the sd card and I don’t dare to delete apps that came with the phone. Thanks in advance for help.

Hi @rolandt.j5ezlx,

Considering your user name, I can’t resist answering. It’s not everyday, I “meet” someone sharing my name.

Some bundled apps can be safely disabled. Please see if anything here helps: https://community.republicwireless.com/people/carlh/blog/2015/04/01/moto-e-make-the-most-of-your-phones-available-storag….

You might try clearing both the app caches and the system cache.

Clearing the Cache

Thanks, I’ll give that a try!
