Is there a limit to the number of times I can activate phones on a Republic Plan that is no longer available?

Hi,

Is there any limit to the number of times I can activate devices on my account? I have the $25 unlimited plan from years ago. I recently moved the plan from my moto x gen 1 to a moto x gen 2. That phone got dropped and I then activated the same plan on the moto x gen 2 that motorola sent as a repair/replacement. Unfortunately for me, the replacement was not correctly refurbished and doesn’t work. Motorola is exchanging it under warranty, but I won’t pay the $25 fee for immediate processing. Can I just reactivate my Moto X gen 1 for a week or so and then switch the activation back to the Moto X gen 2 that I will receive in the mail? (Bottom line question: is there a limit to the number of times I can activate phones on a Republic Plan that is no longer available?)

No limit as long as all phones are the legacy Moto phones
