It may interest you to know, one of Republic’s founders, David Morken (also a co-founder of Republic’s former corporate parent Bandwidth.com) is a Marine: https://www.bandwidth.com/leadership.
That said, Republic, generally, offers the same lower pricing for all with no discounts based on membership in a certain group other than the one for beta members described here: Beta Member Service Discount FAQ – Republic Help.
