Moto 4 g not holding a charg very long & feels warm

I was just sent a replacement phone (Moto G 4th generation) because I could not receive a call or text if I was away from WIFI. That problem seems to have been fixed with this new phone. However, this phone loses charge over night. How can I check to see if any apps are using more battery power than they should? Or do you have any other suggestion of what I might try? Also, this phone feels warm most of the time. (More than the last one.)

Pull down the notification shade using two fingers, (or one finger twice), Tap the battery icon at the top of the screen and it will give you a battery overview. You can tap individual items for more information.

Also, this phone feels warm most of the time. (More than the last one.)
