Moto e 2nd gen migrate to Moto g4

I purchased a Moto g4 plus to replace my moto e2. This was due to a non-responsive display on the moto e.

The phone will turn on but I am unable to navigate. I would like to pull all the data from my moto e.

I have not activated my moto g4 yet but wanted to see prior to activation the best way to activate, change to my old number, and pull off photos contacts etc…

If anyone has some advice I would appreciate your help

Thanks

Tom

you can try hooking up a computer and see it it can grab the data you want to move over to the new phone

USB-OTG adapter may allow a mouse to control the phone

Much of what you will want on the replacement phone has been backed up by Google and will sync to the new phone shortly after you log into your Gmail account. See if you stuff is here:

Google Photos - All your photos organized and easy to find

and last but not least, you apps are at the Play store.
