Are you sure your phone is Sprint activated?

Please try this on your phone:

  1. Launch the dialer as if you were going to make a call.
  2. Tap the numeric keypad icon.
  3. Dial *#*#786#*#*

What does your phone do? Does the screen just clear or do you get a SprintDM screen?

OK, so while I’m waiting for a chat rep to discuss this, I received another notice that yet another update is required (NPNS25.137-83) so I’m going through that installation now. Interesting that this is the 3rd update I’m going through since I activated this Moto G5 phone yesterday. The installation completed and I still have no cellular signal. BTW, my wife’s phone is getting LTE on her RW Moto X.

Those updates are unlikely to be related to your coverage issue. And if I remember correctly, out of the box the G5+ has either 4 or 5 updates to be completed.

Is there any way to ensure I’ve got all the updates required? NPNS25.137-83 went is without issue (except for I still don’t have cellular signal).

Have you tried the step I provided above to check which coverage your have? Can you do that and also share your ZIP code?
