MOTO G4 PLAY some cell calls won't connect

Over the last couple week I have developed a problem with relatively new MOTO G4 play. Works fabulously in wifi environment. When in CELL service only, calls typically take 8-15 seconds to connect. Also, lately I can’t connect to certain numbers. I have discovered that if I uninstall the Republic App, the Cell Only calls are almost instantly connected and numbers that won’t connect on cell work fine. Any ideas? Just to clarify, this is only an issue when NOT in a wifi environment.

That sounds to me like an issue that warrants a service ticket. Unfortunately you will probably be asked to jump through a bunch of hoops. Maybe someone else in the Community will record their cell call setup time with and without the Republic app installed. I’d try that on my S7 but my cell service at home sucks.
