Moto G5 Plus

Please support this phone when it arrives.

moto g plus (5th gen.) - unlocked Android smartphone | Motorola, a Lenovo company

Republic has had a long relationship with Motorola. So as soon as Motorola releases the phone, I would expect to see it for sale here and BYOP.

the Moto G5 Plus support is official as coming this spring

Comparison of Currently Offered Phones

Well, someone has it wrong… and I’m guessing it’s the person at RW who updated the Republic Wireless phone comparison page.

The official Motorola Web page indicates that the Moto G5 Plus processor will be… and I quote… “…Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 2.0 GHz octa-core processor.” Link

However, the RW phone comparison page indicates only a quad-core processor: "Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 625

2.0 GHz Quad Core". Link

Really?

seeing as Qualcomm call it’s a Octa core I think Republic is wrong

@beng

Hi @beachb,

You’re right, this is an Octa core. We had a minor mistake in the comparison document, that is now fixed. All other documentation had this correctly labeled. Thanks for bringing it to our attention!

Will this phone have NFC? Motorola’s page says yes. But this page says not in the US: Motorola Moto G5 Plus • NFC World

Motorola Site says no also moto g plus (5th gen.) - unlocked Android smartphone | Motorola, a Lenovo company (in full spec sheet)
