Moto X Pure SIM Error


Hello all,

Just received a new Moto X Pure that was purchased from the Republic Wireless store. The phone has not connected to a cellular network. (I have good cell strength at my home.) The SIM looks to be a CDMA SIM as the word “Republic” is written in all grey letters. I have gotten notifications such as “The network did not respond in time. The SIM is locked.” Now the phone isn’t even recognizing the SIM. I have tried many things: PRL update, network reset, factory reset, reseating the SIM, and multiple dialer codes.

Any ideas?
