my moto e first generation is freezing on the home screen. what should I do?
Press and hold down the power button for up to 2 minutes. You may have to put the phone on the charger and try.
The phone is probably out of memory, so if the phone comes back on, then I suggest you clear the cache and then go to Google Play store and set it so it does not update your apps. Hopefully, that extends the life of the phone a bit more.
Your probably out of memory the phone don’t have much internal memory. Delete some apps or just disable them and stop them from updating taking your memory. If you have Facebook delete it and access Facebook from the Google Chrome browser & save it in bookmarks/favorites.
Store pictures in a cloud or transfer them to a PC - just get them off the phone. Delete stupid texts, people you don’t text, short codes, any old texts you don’t want to keep. Any apps you don’t use you can uninstall their updates and disable the app (uncheck the notifications)
