New sim (cdma from GSM) hung up on activation

New SIM card inserted correctly, phone just hangs on “please wait” for over an hour. Restarted many times, No change. I started a help ticket, just wonder if anyone else has had this issue while I wait for a response.

Ok. Did they give you any special instructions on how to activate it?

Here are some things to try. First, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the Republic app. Then try to activate it again. If that doesn’t work, try Clearing the Cache – Republic Help .

got it fixed. Removed the SIM, started the phone S7 with no SIM,
installed the SIM and all is great. Thanks for the help

Great! Thanks for letting us know how you got it to work. It was mentioned on another sim card review but I wasn’t sure if that was going to be applicable.
