Nexus 5X back Camera not focusing

I have tried taking pictures with my Nexus 5x that I purchased in October of 2016; however, the back camera does not focus. This happens with all pictures I tried taking , whether near, medium or far distance, or in any mode. I can hear the camera trying to focus and the focus circle keeps appearing in the phone screen. Every picture I take comes out blurry. The front facing camera works fine, however. Any take on this issue?

If you have a case, try taking pictures without the case. Some cases obstruct the laser AF system.
