I just got a new upgrade phone. It did not come with a SIM card and my old SIM card is too large. The old one seems to be a micro size and the new phone requires a nano size. What do I do?
If not already installed in the phone you may have overlooked it inside the shipping box. If not there or installed prior to shipping you’ll want to open a Support ticket and RW should get one delivered to you quickly.
What was your old phone?
Called Motorola today. They checked the order and said no SIM card was
ordered, just the phone.
If You purchase a Phone from somewhere other than the Republic site the SIM will not come with the Phone
if your old phone was a Legacy phone the SIM is not transferable (they are CDMA and CDMA SIMs are link to the phone and not your account and the SIM needs to stay with the old phone.
If you old phone was a 3.0 Phone then there a chance that that SIM could be used if it’s on the GSM partner (the “Re” part of the Republic will be Grey while the rest Green on the SIM, if it’s all grey it’s CDMA and you will need to get a new SIM BYOD SIM )
if GSM you will just need to punch out the small inner nano size card
Amazon link to Republic SIM
If you bought your phone from Moto, you will need to buy a SIM card from There Republic site.
@seanr The SIM cards are on backorder in Republic’s store.
They can be found on Amazon, here:
