No sound or video on moto g4

My daughter has had the moto G4 for less than a year. The sound started going out a couple months ago. Now there is no sound or audio at all. She can’t make or receive calls. She has a plan with no data, talk and text only .

We started in safe mode and the problem persisted so we did a hard reset and a factory reset. There is now nothing on the phone and it still doesn’t have any sound or play videos.

If the phone is less than a year old it should still be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact Motorola for assistance.

I will try again, but when I chatted with them today, they said to contact my carrier.
