I have 3 phones under my account, my son purchased an I phone and wants to port his number. How do I do this, the provider asked for the account number and I gave them the his phone number and PIN. They said the PIN was still not valid, I reset it online but still showed in valid. How do I port this phone from my account?
This is nearly always a result of the line being assigned in the customer interface. In that case you’ll either need to sign-in with the email it is assigned to and set a PIN there or you’d need to UNassign the line following the directions here: http://bit.ly/unassign and then it’ll use the primary account PIN.
