On new phone, getting asked to give access to Google Pinyin input

Not sure what this is used for. Do I need to grant this access?

Not needed, unless you are trying to learn Mandarin as

  • Least anyone think that I wrote the provided description, I am fessing up that it is the results of a Google search on just the word ‘Pinyin’

Most likely this is coming from an app that’s pre-installed on your phone. Check out this article for instructions on how to uninstall it (assuming you’d like to of course) :smile_cat:
