Was going to buy a borescope to attach to my phone but it says the android device has to be OTG enabled…Is my Moto G 3rd OTG enabled? Thanks

The easiest way to check is using an app like USB OTG Checker.

Hi @lweetz,

The app mentioned by @brandonw.fm9k1f is a good means of determining OTG compatibility. That said, Moto’s G3 is indeed USB OTG capable. Whether it will work with the specific device you wish to purchase might be a question better directed to the manufacturer of said device.

The borescope manufacture just says the phone needs to be an OTG enabled device. So it should work Im guessing.

Indeed, it should. Personally, I like more certainty than should, however, your G3 meets the device manufacturer’s stated requirements.
