Issue Description

We are in the process of switching one of our phones from Republic to another carrier. As part of the activation process there, sounds like I don’t need to ‘notify’ Republic, but rather just give certain information to the new carrier, which includes something called a ‘passcode’. Now, my GUESS is that this ‘passcode’ may be the same thing as my 4 digit PIN that I use to access the phone multiple times a day. Is this guess correct? Or is this passcode a different number? If the latter, how do I find out what my passcode is?

This Help Article provides the answer, and normal steps to transfer to a new carrier … note the Moto X1 can not be activated on other carriers

To be clear, the Moto X1 can not be activated on ANY carrier as the supporting network is being shut down as we speak and no company (including Republic) is able to activate it any longer.
