Can I use my phone in Canada without WiFi? Can send text, make/receive calls and use cellular Data (GPS)? Than k you

Hi @manishk

Your Republic Wireless service does not include access to the cell network in Canada or any other foreign country. You will not be able to call or text away from WiFi. If you are close to the US border, your phone may pickup signal from US towers but that’s it.

There are navigation apps that you can download along with the needed maps for offline navigation. Google Maps now has this capability. Here is a link for that:

If you have one of the newer phones, you have the option of swapping out the Republic SIM and using a SIM from a Canadian provider while you are in Canada.
