Phone Issue:

I have a Republic Wireless plan, but my existing phone quit working, what do I do?

Can I get a new phone without a new plan?

Sure. Your Moto E 1st gen is on either the Republic Wireless 1.0 or 2.0 plans. If you desire to keep the same exact plan you would need to purchase a Republic Wireless compatible phone on the used market (all of the new phones are on 3.0 plans with a new underlying cellular carrier. You can certainly order a new phone for this and keep your phone number, but be sure to check out the Republic Wireless 3.0 FAQs and 3.0 coverage map before buying). eBay and Swappa are popular places to purchase used Republic Wireless phones compatible with the 1.0 or 2.0 plans (the phones you would be looking for would be Republic Wireless versions of the Moto E 1st and 2nd gen, Moto G 1st and 3rd gen, and Moto X 1st and 2nd gen). Buying tips can be found at Buying and Selling Used Republic Wireless Phones .

If you are looking for a used phone, then I would stay away from the phones that have less then 16GB of memory.
