How do I transfer the photos on my Moto G/3rd generation phone to my Apple laptop computer?
There are multiple options to do this. However, the easiest, in my opinion, will be to go to Google Photos - All your photos organized and easy to find. Your photos should all be backed up there. You can download them to your computer from there as well. Hope that helps!
@mb2x’s suggestion to use Google Photos is an excellent one. Google Photos works quite well on Macs via a web browser.
That said, if you really want those photos on your Mac, it’s pretty easy. With your Moto G3 connected to your Mac via USB, please try the following:
- Swipe down from the top of your G3’s screen.
- Tap the notification that says "Connected as a media device.
- Tap Camera (PTP).
- If it doesn’t launch automatically, open Photos or iPhoto (depending on which version of macOS is on your laptop).
- You should see your phone connected with the ability to import photos.
