Problems sending and receiving texts

Does your plan include data, or just talk & text? includes data

Issue Description

I am not receiving all texts…the sender tells me (in person) that they receive a message that there is a problem with my number
I also am not able to send many texts…some work, some don’t–tried changing what messaging to use, doesn’t seem to solve it
I have a brand new phone (activated a couple of days ago) and am super frustrated to yet have another challenge to deal with

  • With the brand new phone, is it a new number, or did you also just transfer your number from another carrier
  • Have you replaced the Samsung Message app with Google Messages?
    • You should be using that and can be identified by :messages:
