Issue Description


I have a replacement phone Moto E 4. Just inserted SIM card. Could not activate. Preexiting phone number was not available. Been a member since 12/2013.


Was the SIM a new one from Republic, or did you take SIM from an older ‘Legacy’ RW phone X1/2, G1/3, E1/2)? (which wont work)

Have you been able to activate your replacement phone yet? We’d like to help, but without some additional information as far as what is wrong, it’s hard for our Member Community to assist.

Where did you get the replacement phone? If it came from Republic, you’ll activate with the SIM card that was installed in the new phone, and select your phone number during the activation process.

If you got the phone from somewhere other than Republic, you may need to order a Republic SIM card, depending on what the phone it was replacing happens to be.

You can always keep your number when replacing an activated Republic WIreless phone.
