I was setting up my new Moto G4 and I wanted to make a call. In order to make a call, I had to give the Republic app permissions. I recall allowing something along the lines of “allow republic to record audio calls”. I have since searched for this setting and cannot find it within the Republic app. Does anyone else remember having to allow this permission?
See the correct answer in this thread:
That permission is to allow our app to use the microphone. If you do not allow it, people will not hear you talk. It ight hamper calls.
If you are asking how to turn the permission on, you will go to Settings-Apps and scroll down and click on Republic Wireless. Then click on Permissions. Finally, make sure phone and microphone are on.
