Republic Phone in South Korea

Got a family member serving in the Army in South Korea! To say staying in contact is a challenge.

If we added a new line of service and base it off my home address can we then ship the phone to them and they utilize the Republic Network for calling and text messages?

I know everyone says this, however, please thank them for their service.

Yes, that would work, so long as they were connected to WiFi. Republic offers no cellular coverage outside the U.S. Republic’s least expensive plan option currently is $15/month for unlimited talk, text and no cell data. Unlimited talk & text would work over cellular in the U.S. and unrestricted WiFi worldwide.
