"Republic Wireless has stopped."

What phone do you have?
What plan are you on?
Does your plan include data, or just talk & text?

-Samsung Galaxy 5, basic plan with data.---------

Issue Description

For a couple weeks now, when I place a call, the call goes through but a box pops up that says "Republic Wireless has stopped." Then two options are given: Restart app or Send feedback. It's not so much a problem if I get a person to answer my call. But if I need to press a key for Option 1, 2, etc, I cannot bring up the keypad without ending the call. And even if I do get a person, the call tends to die after about a minute. It goes in and out. Very frustrating. I don't really know much about apps (my sons set my phone up), and I tried leaving feedback, but I don't know if it went anywhere.
  • It might be helpful to know if you were on WiFi at the time?
  • You may also want to look at Google Play App under the Installed Tab and see what has been added/updated about the time you began having the problem

Samsung Galaxy 5? I’m hoping that’s just a typo, since that model isn’t supported by Republic Wireless.

Here are the supported phones.

I suggest clearing Android System Cache:
