Sim card backorder

#1

I’m switching from my old 1st gen Moto X to a new BYOP plan. I ordered both the sim card and phone over the holiday figuring they’d both be delayed a bit and and probably arrive around the same time. Surprisingly, my new phone is expected to arrive today, but I received an email from Republic last night that the sim card is backordered and could take up to 2 weeks. If it does take that long, I’m worried I’ll miss my window to return the phone if something’s wrong with it.

I saw sim kits on Amazon and I’m wondering if those are official and OK to purchase? I’m always leery of 3rd party sellers on that site so I thought I should ask just in case.

Not a bad policy. In this case, the seller is Amazon itself. I’ve ordered the very same SIMs @nathanb.puhlyv has pointed you to. They’re fine.
