Can I use my Republic Wireless phone outside the US on a Wi-Fi network located by Skyroam.
To a Republic phone, WiFi is WiFi, so in short, yes. So long as Skyroam or whomever their partner provider in a given location is does nothing to block Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling and text messaging, there isn’t a reason it shouldn’t work. VoIP is the technology powering the WiFi portion of Republic’s blended WiFi/cell calling.
Quality will depend upon the quality of service provided by Skyroam where one is located. Ideally, you’d want 4G (or at least 3G) connectivity.

Interesting but no way to check for local coverage.
