I really don’t understand why Tablets can’t be supported if they’re running on Android 6 or better. Hard time believing it could be a Sim card size issue…

What am I not understanding??

Republic is a VOIP/cell provider and note a data provider

the idea of republic is to use less data and that all tablets can do

tablets are just not in Republic business case

Also note only approved phones can be used even if they have 6.0+ they still need to be approved by Republic

Actually Tablets do quite a bit more than just absorb data, but we’ll leave that alone for now.

I guess I totally mis-understood when I read the BYOP blurb about any phone running Android 6 or newer will work on your system.

Seems you’re telling me this is not true and only the phones you list will work.

If that is true, I’m dis-appointed… I was looking for a savings on our field communication. We use the Tablets for everything! They’re running on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow)

Republic BYOD is limited to listed model with correct build version [which are a the US regional factory unlocked variants]
