Texting picture to Starbucks doesn't work

Issue Description

Starbucks now requires texting a picture of your receipt when you buy bags of coffee in order to receive rewards points. When I try to send the picture, I get this message: “Republic Wireless MMS-to-shortcode is not allowed. Remove attached media and/or multiple recipients to send an SMS.” I’ve sent pictures many times on my texting, but had never received this code message before. What do I do to be able to send the pictures of my receipts to Starbucks?

I don’t believe what you ask is possible with Republic. Republic supports MMS (picture texts) to regular 10-digit numbers but not short codes (special four, five or six- digit numbers) used by many businesses like Starbucks. Does Starbucks offer any other option for sending a receipt other than a text message to a short code?

As per Starbucks FAQs you should be able to email the picture or do it online.
